Blackhawk

That's it! Except the older one with the all black handle. My dad called me from Michigan today and told me a funny thing that he did with this knife today. His spare refridgerator was frozen over (the freezer part obviously). He was trying to use a butter knife to chip away at the ice, but it wasn't doing the trick. So he pulled out his Blackhawk and started using that. He blow a hole through the top of the fride and freon was spraying everywhere! HILLARIOUS! Needless to say....he is going to go get a new fridge tomorrow! :DHe has always loved that knife, and it was lost for about 6 years. I went home to visit him last month and found it in the garage! Now he uses it whenever he can!
:D

Wow, that is a bummer about the fridge. Kind of funny...kind of sad...ok, it's funny :)
I was doing the same thing in the garage freezer a few weeks ago. Except I was using one of my Vanguard fixed blades. It's the one I keep in my tool box for pillockian chores. Then, I thought about how easy it would be to bust through the freezer with that blade. and used a windshield ice scraper to finish the job.

The Nighthawk is a great knife. I had a two-tone that ended up in the mid-west somewhere with a good Buck Brother. Missed it like heck and got myself an all black one.

I'll post a pic of that one next to the new Nighthawk Pig Stiicker tomorrow if I don't forget.

How ironic! I have a nighthawk here from somewhere on the west coast!
A Great Buck Brother sent it to me!!!!

Shes a great knife! I just had it out this weekend for cutting kindling and sharpening some sticks, so we could "burn some marshmallows" as the kids put it ;)

Oh in my freezer it has this sticker- "DO NOT USE SHARP OBJECT TO REMOVE ICE FREEZER DAMAGE MAY OCCUR" LOL
Now I know why that sticker is there! LOL

I keep the Nighthawk away! Good luck!!!

I'm glad my Hawk found a good home Jim :)
My casa is a bit dysfunctiuonal LOL.

dugh .... were did they go?:mad:
and do you have a pict of the blade with out the handle on it ?

Anyone else have a 651 NHPS with the "BUCK" on the blade not being stamped straight?

Mine is ever so slightly off. Wouldn't have seen it had you not mentioned it.

Oh yeah, just to get technical on ya, its the NHIPS. :)

I like the Nighthawk a lot, ever since I used one to help process an 800+ lb boar. Did not need to sharpen it till we were done. I also had used a Vangaurd to help skin him. Loved the rubber grips on both knives. Now since I have relocated to here, it seems all I get to do is trim bark off of trees to make baskets some of the time! Pepole where sure surpissed by how much I could do with a 110, even if it was one in 420hc...:D:D:D
