just bought a Collins letter opener its like a meyerco assisted but its all synthetic, its on its way does anyone have it? how is it? it looks so cool for knifesturbating with.

shaft, that plastic knife has a metal spring. It's a toy. I wouldn't be surprised if few of us have picked one up.

I like his upgraded "CIA letter opener" better. :D
 
its a neat little piece!!!, not a slahing piece but will fill the bill as a thruster...my damm thumb is sore from playing with it..gonna get more for x-mass gifts at 12$ its a cool piece. thanks Blackie...

Part of what I do is to set up security for local state government offices. We use upright garret scanners as well as the hand wands. I can state with authority that the Blackie Collins Letter opener will fly through both with no problem. I have actually taken a garret hand wand, turned it on and set the letter opener on top of it with nary a buzz.

Funny thing is if you open it the spring will coil and then it will set off the wand but only if it's less than an inch away from it. when the letter opener is closed there is no problem with it.
