Any tips on how to black out these bats by removing the white lettering ? I want to avoid a melted or chewed up mess. I admit to not putting much thought into it, but hearing of other experiences may be a beneficial guide. Thank you.

got no idear....but if i had one i might try a scotch brite pad and see if it came off without scratching up the bat too much. depending on what i saw id move to sand paper in various finer grits or maybe a polishing compound or some sort of chemical to remove it. what is the printing done with? anyone know?

Thanks for the replies all. I considered most of these applications but was looking for something not considered, which doesn't seem to be the case. I did some Sharpie and it was ok, but would come off over time with hand sweat. I guess a fine sandpaper won't ugly these things up too much. The result I get will be equal to the effort that I put in. I don't need folks wondering about a bat the says, Crusher, Smasher, Basher, whatever, on it. Love these bats though !

When do you place your hands that high up on the Bat? I only own the Crusher. After running my hand over the wording I think that if you hit it with a hair dryer that may break the adhesive. Polypropylene is very tough have you thought about using acetone? Or good off?

Nope I haven't bud but I am certainly open to your ideas. This is a pretty casual inquiry. Thanks.

I'd go the opposite direction and just paint it all white so the letters don't show at all. Then it's all tactical ready for snowy weather!

:D I should have done that when I was wearing my snow camo whites and killing Ptarmigan on Lake Athabasca. Well some of the late fall Grouse were near dumb enough to hit. I saw a native knocking a few out of trees with a sling shot, then he helicoptered them. I ended up light sanding then using a sharpy to darken the scruff. A recent arrival just had peel able stickers.
