I just found an original Blackjack Knives "Applegate-Fairbairn" in my safe. Unfortunately, It has one cracked handle 1/2, and I'm hoping someone here could suggest a source for a replacement handle. Thanks, ==Bob

Hmm, those have been made by a few companies in the last 10 +/- years or so. I think Gerber, BlackJack and now Boker. You may give Bokers USA office a call and see if you can order a handle slab. I dont know for sure if the specs on size and thickness are exactly the same though.

Common problem with the blackjack A/F.

one of mine was cracked and I took them off and replaced them with brown micarta in a coke bottle shape.

I might still have the old ones around If I can find them I will send you the good one if you want it.

If you want a completely new set Boker now makes the knife and the grips are the same I believe. Contact them and see if their grips will fit the blackjack.

Another person to contact is Mike Stewart at Bark River Knife and Tool they still have some old blackjack bladestock and have been making up old blackjack knives and selling through a ebay. I think the sellers name is Treeman.

Don't worry about the crack. Pretty much all of the BlackJack A/F's have that crack.
