Blackjack knife

Does anyone have experience with the new Blackjack Model 7 in cpm 3v steel? Is this knife actually made by Barkriver knife?

Blackjack is manufactured by Bark River Knife and Tool, yes.

yep bark river and you can tell as youll order a green micarta for an example and the box will say that but it will be black micarta. i know first hand. they are so disorganized......

Yep, Bark River makes all of the classic Blackjacks. I assume you are referring to the Model 1-7 versus "7". The 1-7 in A-2 was the first Blackjack I purchased.

Added: Was thinking it was the 1-7 versus 7. But there is a model 7. I had just not seen one for sale in a while or maybe I simply have not been looking at BJ knives other than at DLT.

Blackjacks are good knives, especially in 3V. I have a number of knives from Mike Stewart's shops -- a trio of Marbles in 52100 and a Bark River Woodland in A2. Top quality, all of them.
