Thinking of ordering blackjack model 14 halo attack in A2steel, any input is welcome:)

And also, how they compare to high end cold steel knives like recon scout sm3,trailmaster sm3, and laredo bowie

The knives in A2 are made by Bark River Knife and Tool. They are very highly regarded by some on this forum.

In what way to you mean to compare them? The Cold Steels you mention are larger, heavier knives than the model 14, so if you mean performance-wise they're different animals. If you mean just in terms of fit and finish or overall quality of build they exceed anything I've ever seen come out of Cold Steel.

It's my understanding that Bark River is still making these knives for Blackjack so I have to assume that they are of the highest quality. That Halo Attack is a very cool looking knife (I understand it's not original) and as long as they're still made by Mike Stewart I would certainly trust it.

Also a nice knife, pretty much identical in terms of geometry and such so very similar cutting performance--lighter due to the narrow tang and being not quite as thick in the blade. Blackjack has gone through many eras and sometimes the consistency of grinds was not always the best, but I've been impressed by all their efforts in the last year or so.
