I saw a blackjack knife up for sale and was wondering whatever happened to them? Are they still in business? If so, where are they made?

Any info would be great!

if you go to knifeforums.com, you can see they still have a forum and are still making new knives. There are less expensive ones made in Japan and the classic ones are made by Mike Stewart.

In fact, they just announced a new model. Currently they have a model 14, model 7, model 125, model 5, and I think they may still be making the trail guide.

Some places you can find blackjack, knifeworks.com, knivesshipfree.com, 888knivesrus.com, smkw.com

Note newer model 5s and others are made in A-2, some people have old stock in 1095 I believe, so make sure you read the description if you want the A-2.

I had two of the new blackjack models that are nearly the same as the old Camillius ones from SMKW. DO NOT waste you money on them! I did not expect much for $12.95, but they are a total POS!!!!! I never send back knives that are not outright broken, but I may with these. We are talking 99 cents store quality here guys.....Perhaps the fixed blades are better, but the cheap folders are pure trash!

The BlackJack "Classic Blades" are still made in the USA by the same guy that made them years ago (Mike Stewart).

They are very high quality knives (just like Mike Stewart's Bark River Knives).

Think Randall's at a reasonable price.

I would stay away from the offshore BlackJacks.
