I picked both of these up yesterday at the flea market.

To polish out the grind marks use Silicon Carbide sandpaper wrapped around a cube of something hard like aluminum or even wood to keep your pressure constant. Start off with 220 or 320 depending on the severity of the grind marks and keep going with finer grits until you get the finish you want, always going in the same direction with the paper.

Blackjack is in business again I believe making knives like "The Grunt". They advertise in Tactical Knives magazine.

I used to see ads for the Blackjack bootknife you have in the late 80's in mags like SWAT Fighting Knives all the time.

Blackjack Knives have a good reputation, and if you got one for $12, you got a steal! Older Blackjacks are collectors' items. I paid $150 for a Blackjack 5 inch Classic, and thought that was a good deal. I bought mine at a gunshop, and at that time the only internet site that had them was asking $180.

Please disregard - Didn't see your earlier post ref. the Mark II......

Thanks - John
