I have been looking at pictures of some of the Blackjack knives (brand) and I'm considereing buying the Halo 7.5" fixed blade in A2 Steel. Any opinions on the quality and so forth?

Pull the trigger on it you won't regret it! the Blackjack's Classic are made by Bark River Knife & Tools & their heat treat is awesome their A2 steel is great stuff & a convex edge is a pleasure to sharpen.Personally i would get the Border patrol handle Halo.

I also very like their version of the 1-7.

Thanks for the reply. Seems few know anything about them. But based on what I know, they appear to be a good high quality knife.

I received my first Blackjack yesterday, a Classic 125. It's a well-put together knife with stag handle, aluminum furniture and a stout, convex ground A2 blade. Sharp too. The only complaint I have concerns the sheath, the belt loop is comically wide.

I have the same 125, which I received the other day, its a beauty. Very nice knife indeed.
