Blackjack model 125

I just had a Blackjack model 125 fall into my lap. I know nothing about the company, but the knife seems very nice (pics), not in my possession yet. I do not have any experience with A2 either. Most of all just wondering if any of you have this knife and you like it, please share your thoughts. I never really been into fixed blades too much, but I really like the looks of this knife, pretty excited to get it.



I just realized I should have put this in the fixed blade forum, sorry for the extra work mods!
 
I had a knife fall into my lap once. It was terrifying.

I have a couple of Blackjacks from years back and have no complaints. I don't know about the company now, or that model. I've heard nothing bad about A2 steel. The most important thing is that you are happy with your knife. Other people's opinions are just that.
 
I think the 125 is Blackjack's top seller these days, it's a fine knife.


The A2 with Bark River's heat treatment is a great choice for a hard use field blade.


I suspect that knife will serve you very well.
