I don't see a lot of posts about Blackjack but the model 14 Halo Attack I think is a must have for me. I know it won't be a Randall but the cost is not too bad either. The classic look is just more than i can resist. General use would be camping, light bushcraft and something to pack along on atv rides. I would appreciate any info you all can pass along before I spend the $$$$.
Thanks,

I'd go with the Model 125, myself. The Halo Attack is cool....but do you need/want what BlackJack describes as "..the Ultimate Combat-Survival Style knife..." for "...camping, light bushcraft and something to pack along on atv rides"?

What are you planning on attacking? :D

I have a not-so distant "cousin" of the BlackJack 125/Randall 19, and it's an excellent knife.

(So is the BlackJack Grunt, by the way!)

Sorry misread the post thread title :D[/QUOTE.

Good post Jack Black! Marcinek I will take a look at the 125. The look of the 14 is so appealing I suppose I'm not thinking along the lines of the functionality for what I will be using it for. Most likely the only think I might attack is a roast that cooked over the camp fire.....

It IS a cool looking knife. I have seen versions where the top half of the guard has been ground off and people do use that version as an outdoors knife. Look into that if the Halo really appeals to you!
