I had the 4 inch model the blade is awesome the handle was just way too small for me. Sold it not long after I got it.
How do you know until you try it. No body knew the bk9 was such a great chopper until somebody tried it.
I cant get a bk9 for $80.

Bought one, I will report about it soon.
I will be hiking many miles of the Ozark Trail for two weeks next month. I will try this knife there. I will build shelters with it as I will also build traps. This is more of a state militia survival thing then it is a Bush crafter thing. It is either do or die.
I will take lots of pictures and give a good report.
Good solid American made knives.:thumbup:
At a great price.
Where are they made Big Mike? Mike Stewart's shop? Or are they just designed by Mike?
I must admit, they ARE priced appealingly.
Yes my friend, they are indeed made at the Bark River facility in Escanaba Michigan.
Thank you. Don't tell anybody, but I'm a huge fan of my Chinese made Blackjack Grunt.
The quality of Chinese knives is directly proportional to the money the maker invests in them and the QC they require.
