After two years of not closing the deal on bidding wars over the T3 I finally scored one on ebay this week!
What a beauty! It has everything I am looking for in a fixed blade.
1) It is medium sized--Easy to carry for long periods in the woods or hiking up mountains.
2) It is tough--1/4 of an inch think and wide bodied. It will be able to handle the tasks I need it for.
3) It is wicked sharp. While the sharpened top will prevent me form carrying it in some locals, this feature will come in handy in certain situations.
4) I have 9 1/2 inch hands. Blackjack grips are generous. The leather is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I love the double nickel guard as well.
5) It will be an ideal off-hand compliment to my hawk!
As beautiful as it is in mint condition it was meant to be used. I look forward to taking it in the woods soon.
