Blackjack Trailguide or 125

I have both and like them both. There are some dimensional differences but for practical purposes there is not much in it. The main difference with mine is that the Trailguide is 1095 and the 125 is A2 steel. Both steels are more than adequate but some people will prefer one over the other. A2 has a bit more corrosion resistance but still requires some care compared to stainless blades.
They are strongly build knives well suited to heavy skinning and general purpose use. Handling qualities and edge retention of the blades are both very good.
The Trailguide has been out of production for a while but is not that difficult to find.
They are excellent knives with classic lines and are both very underrated in my opinion.
