I have wondered the same thing. He is giving a knife making class about 30 miles from where I live. I would have signed up but found the article in the local paper to late. He has some interesting designs.

The class was Aug. 30, 31, Sept. 1st. 18 hours long at Willowbrook Village 70 Elm ST. Newfield Maine.
The tuition was $385.00 for the three day class.
I am sorry I didn't find the class until it was already too late for me to sign up. Looked interesting.
 
for me he has a Norlund 'Camper' axe head he is re-profiling for me to use on wilderness ranger jonts...he has had it for about a month...just anxious to see it.
