Blacksmith Antiques

Looks to be about the average price that I see around here. $300-400 for a buffalo forge and $75-125 for a grinding wheel. Assuming the blower on the forge works, and you want to forge with coal get it!
The grinding wheel is mostly for decoration in my opinion.

I have one of each on my front porch for decoration. The grinder usually runs $50-75. The forge will be a bit less than $300. Mine has a handle pump blower and I only spent $95 for it. I would offer $200 max for the forge, unless it is in perfect order.

Alright thanks guys. I would like to start getting into knifemaking but it would be with a modern equipment, so I was thinking of getting the things just for decoration. The blower works on the forge but the original wood from the handle is gone. Apparently he's been selling the things to guys in Alberta for $300 so I don't think I'll be able to get him to go down to $200. He said would go $350 for both. To be honest at the moment I really don't have the room for them but my roommate watches all those TLC/Discovery picker shows and it must have influenced me.

I might pick up the grinding wheel for $75 but I'll probably pass on the forge.

Thanks to you both!
