Blacksmith/Farriers rasp knife

I forged this at the Historic W.F. Moran shop recently from an old farriers rasp. Came out at 7 3/4" OAL 3 3/4" blade. I had to quench it twice the first try the file bit, the second quench did the trick! The handle is skinny, despite that it feels good in the hand! I forged a flaired finger guard.

The knife has great lines and I see dragon scales on the blade from the file teeth very cool
