  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

This is my first post but I think I'll be coming here for info a lot. I've always had a weakness for axes and hatchets, and also unusual hammers.
Sometime in the distant past I acquired this blacksmith made hatchet. Best I can figure is it's for shingling, but I'm around old tools a bunch and I've never seen one similar. I'm interested in your opinions, and what you think I should do with it. Wooden handle is in tough shape but is easily replaced. Hang it on the wall of my shop or find it a new home etc.
