Another freakin' gorgeous knife from Neil - otherwise known as the Neck Ninja. The blade is ground to perfection - sensuous and sharp - the lines on this blade beautiful but it is also one of the best using knives for general carry I've found. The handle with anodized Ti under cord wrap is also gorgeous and provides incredible grip(also very comfortable using!). Just one very classy knife!!! ;) ;) ;) It can be carried as a necker but I prefer it horizontal cross-draw on the belt - you don't even know its there and under a shirt it probably prints less than any other knife I carry on my belt(Dozier Reverse Tanto is second!). The superlatives that have been espoused here regarding Neil's knives are all reflected in this one!

Hi Bill,
Nice one. Is this the first neck ninja?
Can you please give us a top view shoot for this knife?
Thanks!

Oh my lord, I think I'm in LOVE!

That's one of the nicest knives I've seen in a Looooong time.

Another absolutely beautiful knife from Neil. I love the combination of wrapped handle and recurve blade. Where can I find out more about this knife?

That isn't the first Neck Ninja! I made three prototypes of the knife that have a much more pronounced recurve to them. Pronounced to the point where I almost couldn't grind them :)

Bill has one of the first standard models. Under the Ti panels are 12 large holes in the tang to reduce weight. Designed for neck carry, I wanted it to be as light as possible.

There is more information on the Neck Ninja on my website. I will be posting some for sale on the site over the next few weeks.

Beautiful Neil. BTW, I like the less pronounced recurve MUCH better. Hard to grind=hard to sharpen IMO. At least for me. Unsharpenable edge is no my favorite way to utilize steel.

I REALLY like this knife! I mean it's just plain freakin' AWESOME!!!

I have the first prototype made.My American Ninja was lonely and
needed company,so i got him a little brother(thanks to Kevin Pensilver).
Neil's knives are like potato chips; after one you want more.
Also,is it my imagination or are recurve blades more popular than
ever?

P.S. Neil-i haven't forgotten the project we spoke about,just
haven't gone to the post office yet.:)

I Love this knife...

Neil - is this the one you were talking about that I should be waiting for?

I love this model - and having it in a cross draw is going to be great...

Gadi

Norm,

Thanks, you have a nice set (Ninjas) there!! ;)

Gadi,

The Neck Ninja IS the one I was talking about. I can supply them with a neck sheath as well as a horizontal cross draw or IWB sheath. How is the LiteWave holding up??

Neil

Neil - I want this - can I get it with both sheathes?

The only problem with the lightweight is its tendency to show some Very light corrosion marks after long sessions of sweating on it...I wear it next to my very sweaty body in near 100% humidity conditions..

But wiping it with light oil or tuff-cloth solves this problem.

To be honest - the only D-2 knife I have that doesn't catch some corrosion on it is from Bob Dozier - the master of D-2...

But you come damn close - and I like your designs far better...

Go for it man - send me an email so we can get this going...

Gadi

Neil,
I think they like your knife - can't understand why? :D :D

I can't decide which I like best: the Neck Ninja or the Small Hunter w/Curly Koa scales?

I'm losing sleep & weight over worrying about which I like the best! Just Kidding! I like them both equally - looking forward to the Grifter with Juniper Burl scales coming in the future. Can't have too many of your gorgeous knives.

Bill

Please disregard the statement I made above. I will not have any of these on my website, for sale!! ;) I don't know how that slipped out!!

Bill,

The Grifter is IN PROGRESS!! I'll keep you updated, looking forward to talking to you.
Thanks again!

Neil
