Hi Aaron. Thanks. Sorry, I won't be attending this year's show. So busy with custom orders this year that I have no inventory. Yikes!! I should be caught up by January.

Well, I'll miss our annual chat but I suppose it's for a good cause!

I would have never thought a knife with flowers on it would be appealing to me but that one is beautiful.

Wow what a beaut!!!!!!! Awsome piece!
OK I must be behind the curve here but, someone's got to ask and I guess it's me. I understand the Damascus but how did you do the flowers in it?

Dixieblade - Each element of the design (flower, leaf), is forged and carved separately. Holes are drilled and carved out of the damascus billet to fit (receive), each of the design elements. Each piece is then fitted into its place and the whole thing forge welded into one piece. That done, the billet is forged into the shape of the blade.
Hope that answers it for you.

Thanks all for your comments.

Spectacular, raises the bar in craftsmanship. One of the beauties of this damascus is it gives your eye a focus. The butt cap is a sweet touch.

That's just lovely. Even my wife, who doesn't care for most fixed blade knives, loved this one.
