This is one of my latest knives.
The blade is desiged by me and handmade by a french company called Citadel. It is made from carbon steel and is differentially hardened.
Handle is african blackwood, vulcanized fiber, brass "liners" and brass pins.
The sheath is all handmade with predrilled stiches and has a snug fit.

Well I'll tell ya. Not only is "She" a beauty, looks like She would do some very fine work in the woods or @ Deer Camp. I love the look of the spacers and the handle design. Congrats.....

A very fine looking piece. The design is most unique and the whole package is beautifully completed. Notable special points are the handle shape, the liners and how light coloured the African Blackwood is...

I'm very interested to know more about your work with this French company. They cut the blade / ground the blade ? Heat treated it ? YOu did the finishing and all the rest ? Tell us more ! What did they do and what did you do ?

Some might call this a "kit" knife, but this one is very very different ! Jason.

Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it.
Well Jason, there is a lot to say about Citadel, the make some very very nice japanese and other exotic knives and swords. They forge and claytemper much of their work, here is a link:

I just can`t get away from you LaBella :D (Thanks again;) )

Jason, I forgot to mention that I finished the shape of the handle, drilled the holes in the tang and put a satin finish on the blade. And of course the rest was also made by me.
That means they cut, ground and heat treated the blade. It was polished when I got it, but I did not like that.
