I've been working on this piece off and on quite a while now, and I finally got it finished up this afternoon.
OAL- 14 1/8" w 8 7/8" blade, the damascus is a twist that was cubed, welded and then crushed from the corner. The guard, spacer, pommel and blade have all been cold blued. The African blackwood handle is octagon and has 83 pins on the top and both sides, with a nightmare total of 249, my eyes are still crossed.
Believe me the picture doesn't do this piece justice, but it was the best I could manage.
What do you think?
Bill
