another beauty! You haven't been sleeping much have you? :D

Bill, How the heck do you find time to go hunting? I bet your putting these folder together while you in the tree stand. Also though you were working on the fixed knives. I'm really enjoying seeing what you keep comming up with!

throwing these things out like candy! how many hours per knife??
awesome job, I love the damas spine, looks sweet.
don't forget to take a break once in a while!! ;)

Very very, nice.

I am fast becoming a big fan of African Blackwood and one day soon I hope to make a folder also.

Great job, as usual.

Thanks everyone for the nice words, truly appreciated.

Ray, I got to have something to keep me awake while sitting in those trees waiting for Grandpa to come strolling down that deer trail.

Paintfool, I don't pay attention to the time spent on making knives anymore, I just pay attention to getting everything to fit well. I used to try and set a time on each and every piece I made, figured if I couldn't make one in X amount of time I wasn't making any money. Thats a bad thing to do and usually causes me to hurry, which in turn causes more problems , which causes more time lost. To be honest there is several hours, exactly how many I don't know. My mind set anymore is, it just takes as long as it takes, no matter how long.

Thanks again,

Bill

Bill, you're very fast, that's what I meant. it seems like you're whipping up these awesome knives in no time at all! great stuff
Keep 'em coming! Steve.

Thanks Ariel.

Steve, no I'm not to fast. it just appears that way some times. But I'm a full time knifemaker so I work on these knives all day long, and most of the time into the night. My wife works nights, so I'm home alone, so I stay in the shop.
Like I said above there's several hours in this piece, I know I worked on it off and on for at least 4 days. I'm just persistant, kind of like a tortoise.

Thanks,

Bill

It is a beauty and I've always thought the Black wood had a certain air of elegance about it.

Don't let the knife making get in the way of hunting though. Gotta have a little fun! ;)

Good looking folder Bill.
Are you sure you didn't make folders years ago and just now picked it up again :D

Another thought comes to mind - Midtech or outsourcing :D

Just kidding Bill, great looking knives.

You're welcome, my friend, I was just trying to agree with you! ;)

BTW, did I tell you how very much I like the knife? Very nice. Wish I had some money to buy it. Having the smallest Buxton straight knife ever made in my pocket every day, I'll some day carry a Buxton folder in my other pocket.

Bill, that's a great knife! I really like your work, fella. You have the patience of a saint to make those fancy folders.

That's a nice folder, Bill. I'll say one thing for you, man. Your work is a joy to behold. Good onya!

Beautiful folder Bill, Not sure how I missed 1 and 2. I really like the blackwood and pins, very classy and definetly a Buxton knife, Dave
