and Thank you so very much Neil. I have waited a long time and this is every bit worth the wait!!!! I want on the "list" again!!!!

Awesome Ira congrats great score,I sure would like to pick one of those up for myself.Give us some specs.:)

Damn fine knife you have there!

While I usually don't go ga-ga over the large, bad-ass style tactical folders, THIS is an exception. The hole pattern and the anodizing look killer and as far as the blade grinds go, well, it's from Neil and that speaks volumes. You probably just go your hands on one of the hottest folders around these days. Congrats to both you and Neil for coming up with such a sweet piece.

I will have to get the specs!!!! The steel is D-2E and it's a HUGE sucker. To put it in perspective, it is sitting on top of pulley from a CAT D-9:eek:

Nah, I will get them

Here's the specs: Overall length 11", the blade is a full 5", 3/16" thick. Features include .156 Ti. frame, 1/4" dia. pivot and stop pins.

another piece of BLACKWOOD magic ! Dr Lathe is the man .

You are the Dr Ferry Porsche of the knife industry.

(( sitting in the corner mumbling..Vegas...Vegas ! :D ))

THAT'S JUST DAMN AWESOME !!! I mean, it's totally beautiful and looks flawless. Great design, I bet it's comfortable in the hand too. Excellent Wolfie and Excellent ! Mr. Blackwood !.....RDT

I hadn't noticed how well the angle of the blade grind matche the frame. That's not even subtle, but it IS the subleties on this knife that makes it astounding. Nice score, Ira!

Cool one, Neil!

Neil, you are killing me! Your designs are incredible.

That thing is incredible. I've seen tight closeups (can't remember where now) and the craftsmanship is unreal. All Neil's stuff is exquisite, but this one really blows my mind.

Thanks again!!

I'm BEYOND happy with the Skirmish's myself. The past year has not been easy for the Blackwood Knives Folder Division :D I'm finally at the point where I really enjoy making them. They are actually going together without any cursing ;)

I plan on having one in Vegas and the SHOT Show for people to see and handle in person. I'm looking forward to both shows.....See you all there??

Neil
