Thought you all might like to have a peek at some of the knives that Don will be bringing to Blade. I'll let him provide the details, all I'll say is here are four more reasons I'll be crying myself to sleep at night over not being able to attend Blade:

Cheers,

Thanks Roger, you are the man.

The first one has a 7 1/2" forged clay heat treated 1084 blade, mosaic bolsters, mammoth ivory, tapered tang and gold pins.

The next one has a 4" 1200 layer blade of W2, 1084, 1060, mosaic bolsters, mammoth ivory and gold pins.

The next folder has a 3 1/2" blade of unusual damascus, same on the bolsters, mammoth ivory, file work and gold thumb stud.

The last folder has a ladder pattern blade, zig-zag bolsters, black lip pearl, file work and a gold thumb stud.

Thanks for looking and please let me know what you all think. I'll have these knives and a couple more at the Blade Show this weekend, table 20M.
I hope to see some of you guys there, I wish Roger could make it :(

All the best, Don Hanson :D

I see that I'm going to stroll the carpet, at Blade again, in a catatonic state induced by knife overload !

Beautiful grouping ! :D

 All beautiful works but that folder in mammoth ivory is just stunning.

Don, that last one is a real beauty!!! I'm sure it will just skate your table. A real good looking bunch of knives. BTW, I also really like the blade you used in your ad in Blade this month. The pattern on the blade just moves along the whole knife. Cool Stuff!

Don
Riad here..you have taken the fixed blade and made them as easily recognizable as your folders shall we say "Hansonian"

Thanks guys for the kind words :) Heading to Blade in the morning :D

Riad, I'm glad you see my own style in the fixed blades, I guess I'm on the right track. I'll be in touch with you this summer.

"Hansonian" :D I like it, I think

Roger,

I feel your pain. That first knife is killer. (Probably a bank account killer too, but what a way to go)
