Blade '07 Customs

I can still see a couple of those special Blade customs when I close my eyes.

Nah, I see a few of them when I open my safe! Not as many as that hogging bastid Jaxx mind you! Bastid!

Yeah, I was torn between the two, but like you, I wanted a user. I just felt like I wouldn't have to be quite as careful with the micarta/G10 mix. This one will get beaten good.

Plus, if you're going to do a black and tan, this is how you ought to do it. :thumbup:

Man you are sooo right, black and tan done right for sure. And like you I am gonna use mine unforgivingly, this will be my first user custom.

OP, it's true the ironwood will hold up well. It's just that it's almost too pretty to use.

I'd use it, sure, but I'm not certain I could, in good conscience, give it the full beating it deserved. Some little part of me would still be worrying about scratches.

Other than bone (for slipjoints), Ironwood is the only natural material that I really care for. I just love the stuff. It has a warmth and depth that is hard to match and wears like, well, iron.
