OK, who's going to Blade in June. I know Dan Koster and Dave Hahn are.

I procrastinated a little too long and the hotel and airfare went up by almost $200, but I"ll be there. Will be staying at the Sheraton Suites like last year. Was hoping there would be some HI khuks for sale. I'm bringing two of mine to be Kosterized.

I'm going hope to meet someone to work on a couple of my khuks...maybe get to meet Dan

I'll be there! Maybe with a few friends this year, we'll have to see how things work out. We should arrange a meet-n-greet for lunch, it's always fun to meet fellow knuts. :)

The wife and I will be there!

Last year a few of us got together for dinner. It was great! I'd like to do it again.

It would be really wonderful to be able to go and who knows maybe one year, if I live long enough, I'll be able to make it. Along with my dear Barbie of course, never go anywhere without her.:D ;)

Yes, we should arrange to get together. I know an earlier thread on this subject mentioned Fogo's, but I'm not particular as long as there is enough good food.

We should have some kind of tribute to UB also.

Oklahoma is closer than Commiefornia to Atlanta Yvsa.

i will not be going this year as the airfare and hotel will run me at least 1000 for the wife and i.

:(

have to save up.

Count me IN.

I'll be arriving late Thursday, setting up table all day Friday, in-and-out on Saturday.

Really looking forward to it!

Yep, Dave I "feel your pain". $1,300 for me and the wife from Cali.
It took me two years to save up for the first trip...I hope it doesn't take you that long.

Yvsa, maybe you could do it as a side trip on a visit to your daughter? Isn't she on the east coast somewhere? I have a cold and my mind is fading, but that's what I remember.

edited to change the name...told ya I was messed up.

Hmm. I'm in driving distance and have family in Atlanta.

And Fogo de Chao is one of the best restaurants I've ever pigged out at... <green side up>

So, question. Is the show worth doing? I've never been.

AA - it's like Mecca for Knife Knuts.

It's really that good.

I have no problem with Fogo as long as I can get a ride for me and my father-in-law. :o (wife & family are making a trip to Savannah on Friday)

I am in. We will need to do a head count on people if we plan on going anywhere to eat other then were we went last year or walking over to the mall. We may have more people then transport. I can see what options are close by if everyone would like a general idea. Can't wait to see everybody there. Anyone coming to the show feel free to email me and I will give you my cell phone number, if you have any problem once you hit town, or just want to say hello, you will have it handy.

AA, It took me two years to save up for my 1st trip. $1,000 just for light and room from California. That was last year. This year my flight and room are already booked.
Is it worth it?
Hell yea!!

Thanks, shappa, Mark & Dan.

Now planning to be there.... even if there isn't an HI booth.

Wonder if Yangdu still has those HI t-shirts?
