Whew.......this years Blade was awesome!
My lovely wife and I arrived on Saturday afternoon, checked into the Waverly and then proceeded to Busse central only to find out that, as expected, all of the god INFI was gone. OH well... we had a great time over the weekend. The induction dinner was a blast! And I still can't believe I stayed up till 6 o'clock in the morning drinking in the pit and was back up at 9 for breakfast the next day. Wheeeww!
Kim and I really enjoyed ourselves. Now after meeting the HOGS Kim wants some 5.11 pants and INFI of her own. Besides that she found a treasure trove of some of her favorite, turquoise jewelry
Now I've got a budding HOGETTE on my hands.

Now on to the schwag
I picked up two great cases for a couple of my knives these cases were like $12.00 and $10.00 IIRC. These thing are a real bargain.
I traded a custom to Porkerson for these two. As much as I love that custom it screamed at me to be used, I mean like really loud! so I had to send it to be with most of the others of his kind, so maybe it would calm down. Since I have always wanted one the SFNOs with magnum handles and this one had the Double Cut finish I couldn't resist. Plus the new Swamp ppffssst!! Rat is real nice too. Plus the sheath is from Leatherman. And I got this cool INFIdel patch from the guys at TAD.
Also I procured this great sheath from Kenny Rowe for my Obese Mean Street. This is the knife I meant to take for Sal Grosso. Oh well Green UP baby!!!
Blade weekend couldn't have been better, Kim and I had a great time, had an absolute blast hanging out with the HOGS, didn't spend a lot of loot, and came back with a few really cool items. We can't wait for another chance to do it again.
