Blade 2006?

so it's in atlanta, just a bit down the road from me, so i am thinking about coming on down.

what should i expect? should i get in for friday afternoon, or is there something left come saturday?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! :D
 
I have not been to that one...but I hear it is one heck of a party! The knife show by which all other are compared.

If possible I'd try to be there on Friday when it opens(usually VIP's get in at Noon) That's when you have the best chances to get something rare and unusual. You definitely still have choices on Saturday but a lot of stuff sells first thing Friday, so if it is an option I'd be there on Friday.

sounds good to me, my friend. i hope to be able to take advantage of some sort of swamp rat presence, and if you're there, all the better! :D

so, should i go ahead and plan on ordering another liver now or wait till it's closer to time? :eek:

ETA: so, uh, what constitutes a VIP? ;)
 
VIP passes are generally offered by the manufacturers that are represented at Blade show, if you participate in the forums (which you do) and are around the forums about 3 weeks before the show I'll post a "VIP Passes available" thread. At that time just email me and I'll send them out to you. There are other sources for these passes as well, but why not get them from your favorite manufacturer (Swamp Rat ;) )

Friday is definitely the best time to get to the show. You have to get there early, though, to beat some of the tenacious rats/hogs that will be panting at the front door early Friday:eek: :p
 
My wife tried to schedule our Disney trip the week of Blade... had to correct that real quick.

Looking out my office window I can see the trough... errrr. Cobb Galleria.

If I could be VIP pass next year the cap ex's would go through the roof the end of second quarter.

I have not been there in several years. Perhaps this is the year we return.
