For the first time in a long time I prefer the Swamp Rat design. While the Basic 4 looks great, the rest of the basics have that monstrous ricasso.

I agree 100%. The only Swamp Rat I currently own is the Waki which has better ergos than the AK. The 11 series look like a home run. I'm hoping they have a killer deal on the set.

Thank you, these are very useful in making buying decisions. I agree with some here that I would prefer a much smaller ricasso also and also the option for no choil or an elf choil (actually a sharpening notch) on all models, especially the smaller ones. That way people can buy according to their preferences like with the CABS and Boss Jack series.

I wonder whether the production versions of the new Basic handles will be exactly the same as the more square Dogfather,/SOD etc. series, or more rounded like the original Busse Basic/B11 handles? I am hoping that they will be the more rounded style of the original Basic series but smooth on the sides like the Dogfather/SOD and other Scrap Yard series.

Awesome comparison shots!! This will be very helpful when decision making time comes. Is it just me or is there a $ sign on the SR 911 tag?!? I can't make the numbers out though. Any insight from someone who was there?

To me the new Basic Handles felt exactly like Dogfather / SOD/ Scrapper 6 handles. I paid attention because the Basic handles are way to small for me. The Basic 4 has the War Dog Handle.
