A big thank you to Rick, Rob, Rob and everyone at Hinderer for the opportunity to participate in the lottery this past weekend at Blade. Susan, my wife, and I did not know where the lottery was to be held on Friday. At about 5 till 4pm we made our way over to the Hinderer booth and saw Rick walking toward the back side of the main hall. We tucked in behind Rick and let him know we were going to follow him to his lottery since we felt confident he knew where he was going.
We each had a ticket and like many were somewhat skeptical that we would to hear our name called. Then it happened; Rick called out my wifes name! Let me tell you, that moment is a little surreal. Not anticipating this, we had not previewed the selection of folders. When we arrived at the table, we asked Rob and Rob for a quick assessment. Well, as you will see below, this is the beauty we selected.
We just never thought either of our names would be called. A lesson for the guys out there bring a wife get a knife. I left the show with two beauties that day.
I hope the pics show just how nice this Hinderer custom is. The grinds are fantastic, the action is silky smooth, and blue anodized areas really set it off. Thanks again to Hinderer and it was great to see everyone. Hope your name will be called soon at an upcoming show. Enjoy the pics.
Rob, if you get a chance, please let me know the steel used in this blade and is the slab G-10 or carbon fiber. Thanks.
