BLADE 2015 was a very good year...!

Nope, no knife scores to show yet, and a very small haul, but this year wasn't really about that for me. I scored only 3 Busse knives (1 in INFI) and 1 SYCO, and yet it still ranked up there as one of my favorite Shows to date. So what was it? Well, the OTHER reason...the people...consisting of a bunch of great folks who, from all over this planet, converge on one location (one way or another!), and for just a few days meet or reacquaint, interact, share, swap stories & jokes, catch up, and enjoy food & drink together as only we HOGs do so well. :) Was good to see so many of y'all again! :)

I want to especially thank the Bossman, Lexi, Pokey & Watson, Garth, Josh, & Beef, and also Shaylee & Nugget for all the time, effort & labor that goes into bringin' the BEST Blade Show experience to us all year after year. I know it ain't nearly as easy as you professionals make it look to us on the front side of the Trough. ;):thumbup: Again, it was a blast to spend time chillin' with y'all after the show too, and it's those memories that stick with me the longest after the Show fades into the rest of the year, that is until the next one comes around! :thumbup:

Mate it was so good to see you and everyone there via your phone and the skype app :) Thank you so much for hooking us up again. We've made a promise to be there in the flesh next year, so no need to drain your phone battery on our account anymore :D
 
You are 100% correct about the people. Some fine folks I've talked to and had the pleasure of meeting because of this forum. Met the fella that sold me my first Busse (Stacy....my wife still hates you for starting this adventure). Garth, I still believe my wife is going to leave me for you or Troy. A few folks I've dropped my kids college funds into....I'm not going to say any names but they rhyme with Tim and Dennis. Hunted down A Hog Tag in Texas with Eli and then invited to stay the night afterwards. Great pictures of my kids with some of the kindest folks we've met, Chuck and Barb. Been invited across the globe to stay with Hogs from Canada to South Africa. You keep in touch with some that can't really post here anymore (talked to Jules just this week) And all thanks to Jerry Busse for a fun 10 years ....And Dan (you know, those Dogs need their attention too). Too many people to list in one post....

Here's to another Blade I missed and hopelfully get to go to again soon.
 
Glad it was fun, wish I could have been there to meet everyone. Try to make KC no reason I can't make all of them from now on!
 
It was great seeing you as well, Jaxx! We love to hear everyone had a great time. We always enjoy seeing you guys and it's never considered work to us. It is so much fun, we kind of forget about the work part of it :D
