9 weeks from Friday. Really in the need of this road trip. Can't wait!
 
Someday. My family and I will make it there. Enjoy everybody! If someone feels like they'd be willing to be a proxy for me..... ;)
 
As a fair warning there is quite a bit of construction going on in the area with the new stadium complex. Some of the roads are changed up rather drastically. I would say if you have reservations further away from the venue that you plan some extra time to plan your route when you get in the area. The good thing is the Braves will be at away games during the dates for Blade 2017.
 
Really,the hotel I usually stay at said the reason the room rates were so high was because there was a ballgame that weekend.
 
I would love to see them move the Blade show to Sevierville TN. Much more to do outside of the show,less traffic,lower cost everything. No international airport though.
If not that back to Knoxville. Don't think that would happen until Knoxville decides to build a decent convention center.
 
Just my opinion but I think Blade should be in Vegas, to be closer to some of us on West Coast
 
It used to be (Blade West). IIRC attendance dropped so much they stopped doing it.
It used to be held in Knoxville in the east but grew to large for Knoxville. A little fact about Knoxville unless it has changed in the past few years is that Knoxville TN has the greatest percentage of the US population within an 8 hour drive of the city than any other city in the country.
 
I like it being in Atlanta, but I'd travel to wherever it was held if the venue changed.
 
I was thinking Sevierville as it would be easy to plan a family vacation around the Blade Show. I don't know Atlanta that well but I don't think I would ever plan a vacation there. I have never had a reason to go to Atlanta except for the Blade Show and one work training class. Horrible week of training,most of the people were from the Atlanta area and none of them would go anywhere in the area around the airport we were at.
