So Busse is not having a booth at Blade this year. So what are the hot scores you will be looking for? I have no idea myself. Going to be strange walking around just looking for things that catch my eye.

That would be cool :)

I will really miss the Busse booth this year. That being said, I have a long list of customs I’m hunting. Hopefully I’ll get lucky and win some makers lottos this year to be able to buy some knives. I still have not made up my mind on where I want to head first for FCFS knives this year.

There was talk of a BladeGanzaa, or something similar, but I don't think the details have been released (have they?)

Mrs. Nakago and I have some shop credit to use from last Blade, so I'm hoping we can still get some of the "pick up at Blade" offerings!

That aside, I'm boring... I haven't been bitten by the "custom" bug just yet, but I'm sure that's a matter of time (and of winning the right drawing.)

I'm looking forward to meeting anyone who can make it!

My goal is to have sheaths on hand for anything that ships between now and the show, I may or may not also have 50-60 knife/sheath packages with me.. ;)

Holy crap. Imagine. You're a knife maker that's become TOO BIG for blade. Awesome congrats Jerry!

I imagn it's due to not being able to bring enough cool stuff to satisfy all the hogs.

Either way. I'm sure that a Ganzaa will fulfill needs.

Iirc the ganza is for blade attendees only. Your knives must be picked up in person sometime during the show. Now that I think about it. That circumstance may only be for some super special blades . Hopefully the janitor will clarify. My mind is cloudy.

Now that folks are free from spending hours hanging around the Busse booth, which certainly had it's own attractions; I would strongly encourage you to wander about among the ABS/forgers section. The amazing individual styles and designs, combined with the price/value point for many of the lesser known makers will astound you. The level of talent/artistry/craftsmanship of the top makers has to be seen to be believed.

I agree. I have seen some amazing stuff for the 100.00 to 250.00 price point.

The man makes a great point. I'm quite guilty of hanging out in the "left half" of the show floor, and perhaps the wall of the right side, and never paying much attention to the sections referenced above. As much as we all will miss trough, it could be a silver lining...

:eek::eek::eek:

Treachery or truth?

Yeah truth. Wasn't thinking about that many may not have seen the post about that yet.

I tend to frequent those same areas. Will have more time this year to check out a lot more.
