I was thinking about going to Blade next year (my first time), but I don't see Busse on the exhibitor list.

Will Busse be there, at least to party, if not as exhibitors? And if so, where's the best place to stay?

Yes, and they'll use the occasion to introduce the Texican Bowie, at least that's what Im choosing to believe.

I hope so, but I doubt they will have a table. In regards to the hotel, the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly is by far the most convenient since it's an indoor walk to the show floor. It always sells out nearly immediately though so I don't think it's an option anymore. There are several hotels within walking distance though, some of which are still in the sub $200/night price point; prices will surely go up as the show approaches, however. If you don't mind driving than there are a lot of options, but be aware that it is hard to find parking for the show.

I was thinking about this a couple days ago. Figured I would wait a couple months to ask. My plans will depend on what Busse does.
Hotels,I like the Hampton about a block up the road. Have had trouble making any reservations there for the past couple years. Last year they could not tell me what the room rate would be just a few weeks before hand. The past two years I have stayed at the Extended Stay on Sports Ave. A little further away but still well within walking distance and only around 100.00 a night.

Whoa... I didn't even think to check the vendor list. I REALLY hope they show up. It just ain't the same without them.

It really isn't. I wondered around the show on Saturday this year until 3 before I bought the first knife. Thought it would be cool to walk around without anything in mind. It wasn't. Going to get a plan together for what I am after for 2019.

I really hope so. They're about half(at least, probably more) of the reason I go if I'm being honest with myself. Going and meeting this community in person was awesome last year(my 1st year). I was disappointed to have missed Jerry by hours(if that). Would love to meet him as well, and see all you Hogs again. Makes it well worth the cost of plane tickets on a tight budget!
