OK. I was Bad.
I flubbed my Ganzaa email. I origionally was going to get 3 of each size scrapmax. Then I changed my mind and was going to get one axe and 2 of each scrapmax. Then I changed my mind again and was going to go with 2 axes and then get one each of the Scrap max. One last change ( or so I thought ) and I made up a email with all the required info for 2 axes.
Then I was sitting there and somthing told me I was making a mistake. Deep down somthing told me that these Maxes would be great knives but limited quantity and I should just forget everything else and buy as many as I could. Hell use em as steak knives... great gifts to my hunter buddies...whatever.
I decide that at the very least I should go 2 axes and 2 each of the scrap max sizes. I would keep one set and the other would be for my buddy that is a big time deer hunter. I start to make the email and then poof Jerry decides to say GO GO GO.
I said screw it Ill stick with the 2 axes and see if I can get some of the elmax on the secondary market or maybe in a future offering.
Big mistake. The maxes have been on the secondary market .... some at almost at 2x origional cost and are bought immediately. Let me clarify a bit. These knives are worth it, I am just trying to get one for the best deal I can manage.Getting some will be tough I thought to myself. Usually one will pop up on the exchange and bam within the first minute it would be gone with 3 or 4 peeps claiming backup. Then one night I see a Blade 375 max that has been up in the exchange at a great price for a few hours.I said screw it and I pounced.....
This knife is great. Great balance..and the handle is superb. This is my 1st Res-c and I love it. It could be a little bigger, say 3/4 of an inch to a inch but thats just me with big hands being picky. Easily one of the if not the most comfortable grips I have ever held.
Needless to say I will now be on the hunt for at least one each of the ganza ones to make a nice set of triplets. I can always scoop some more up later on after I get some money flowing again I suppose.
Oh look I went ahead and took 144 pictures. Fear not forI deleted some and now there are only 114 or so. the other knife mixed in there was my HRLM for size comparison.
