Blade alignment question

I recently picked up a used Tenacious, and love it. But I noticed that the blade is not lining up properly within the liner like all my other Spydercos;

Is this anything to worry about, or is it just something that happens over time? I assume I would be able to send it to Spyderco for repair if it really bugged me, but if this is a natural wear thing I might not bother.

As long as it isn't toucing the other side it's ok in my book.
If it's rubbing it's unacceptable in my opinion, that seems to be the case
If you can't fix it by tinkering the pivot, I recommend sending it to Spyderco for repair.
Their CS is excellent. :D

Have you tried making a pivot and/or scale screw adjustment yet? Is there a lot of side to side blade play when the knife is open?

With some knives you can actually watch the blade move as you adjust the pivot screw then you hope to find a happy medium between centering and pivot tension.

Other knives may be more difficult. Sometimes you can recenter a blade by loosening the scale screws then adjusting the pivot screw until the blade is centered as much as possible, then retightening the scale screws.

It's all worth a shot before you send it in.

I wouldn't be happy with that blade right now.

Currently there is no play in the blade when fully extended. Will see if adjusting the pivot screw affects the blade position, thanks.
