Anyway, the assistance I need is about the prices of knifes.

A knife that I have in mind was purchased in Barcalona.

It is two knives/daggers put together, housing one another. eg. Two blades slot together.... I have not had time to view it fully. Its handles are made out of a creamy white material. Either ivory or an ivory substitute. ( Most likely to be the latter ) The detail on the handles is in the shape of a dragons head.

I estimate the length of the blades them selves to be around 6" and 4". I could be wrong on this.

Considering the very loose information that I have on this blade. Could any of you give a rough idea of the price on this?

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to Bladeforums :)

It's almost impossible to guess at a value from a description like that. Wait till you get the knife and you may find there are markings -- a company or model name or number -- that will help. It would also help to know the condition of the materials.

Anyway, you have a diverse collection to start with, a kukri, a throwing knife, a letter opener, and a folder. Good start!

Thanks for the help and welcome. I thought it would be hard, but for someone to be able to tell, but it was worth a try eh?

It was only because I want to know if the guy who I could buy it off is going to rip me off.

Yes, I would like to start a blade collection, which is rarther hard in england, as of all the laws, nearly everything is illegal. :(

I need to clean up my knives at the moment, whilst I got the letter opener just for the Celtic handle whilst I was on holiday. :)

the throwing knifes handle is dodgy, probably b'cos I cannot throw it well. ;-)

It is falling off, so needs a bit of DIY i think.
