Sunday night at Blade I put up a group shot on a hotel towel done under bad lighting.

Custom SFNO. DC finish. Scales are white linen (paper?) micarta and tigerhide.

Those are some cool handles on that GW. :cool:

If interested, the SFNO looks like White G-10 with Snakeskin ..... BUT don't quote me on it.

Daniel Koster K-TUSK and Tom Krein TK-11. The Koster was from a special run of only 5, skeletonized S30V, with a unique coating. The coating sold it! I glad I ran into Dan in the Pit on Thursday night.

Jim Crowell, Camp/Cutting competition knife. Forged 5160 (?). This was off a dealers table. Jim was kind enough to come over to that table at my request, and tell me a little about the various older knives of his there. He guessed this one was about 15 - 18 years old, so he was a Mastersmith when he made this. Amazing flat grind with a zero edge. :thumbup:

WOW, I didn't realize I had just pased 1000. :cool:

Let's see........OK, take my {daughter's SSN (exclude the hyphens) divided by the sum of the Latitude and Longitude of my house (decimal form) } plus the weight of my dog. Correct answer, to two decimal places, wins a one night stay at Blade '08. :D

My guess is #9, and if you send that SFNO to me, I'll tell you what the slabs are............. and how they feel, how it chops, how it skins out elk and how it feels in my hand, under my pillow, while lying awake, thinking of all the ways to use it the next morning.............umm, excuse me, be right back!;) :D
