In early March, the Blade Brothers Knives Infantry model showed up here in Canada, direct from Ukraine.
I didn't feel like waiting till I could get out to the woods proper to begin using it, so I took it out to a spot where the city cuts the trees down anyway to try and keep the homeless from camping there. Chopped down dead, rather hard thorn tree:

Here it is in the stump of another thorn tree (if I recall correctly):

Well, this past Saturday I managed to get out to the woods with a couple of friends. :)

First, time to fuel up with coffee and a breakfast sandwich:

Now that in the woods, time to put it through its paces...starting with another dead, seasoned tree:

My friend found an arrow shaft while scrounging for kindling, despite hunting being forbidden in this area...

Peeling the bark from what will became the ham and sausage skewer:

Looks decent with a bit of fire in the background. That little fire took WAY more effort than it should have; day was surprisingly damp.

And a short video of initial tree chop, ham cutting, and final blurb:

From an email during ordering process:

"Mark, I need to inform you that our city has been experiencing increased shelling recently. Due to air raid alerts, the post office may be closed, and we might not be able to ship your package on Tuesday. These alerts can last several hours. In such a case, we will ship your package on the following morning. In any case I will keep you updated."

But they did get it out on the Tuesday. And they kept me updated.
That is great customer service and dedication to the job.

Wish people here had even a fraction of that work ethic...🤔

You can see that my brother's RD9 has seen a tad more use than it has so far...🤣

Used it for most of the day without gloves, and I can now report that that the handle is quite comfortable despite the aggressive texturing.
My skin falls off with the greatest of ease, so if my hands survived using it, yours will too.

Still more comfortable with gloves for me, but that is the case with most knife and tool handles.
