I bought the Kershaw Scallion a few days ago. It is fun knife and I am mostly happy with it other then the blade centering. When closing it, the liner lock pushes up against the blade and it barely gets in between the handles. Is this a problem on just my knife or a problem with the design of the knife?

Im just wondering if I return it for another if I will run into the same problem.

Welcome to BladeForums.
Can you post some pictures of the problem?
Typically you can center the blade easily by adjusting the pivot screw. You would need a Torx driver, not a hex wrench.

Adjusting with the tork is the first thing. second is to play with the tightness of the handle screws to see if that does anything. third is to send it to kershaw. they will fix you up in very short order.

i have never had a problem with mine.

like the others said try to tighten the pivot that should solve your problem.
