Blade centering on Strider SMF

I just got my first Strider knife today from monkey edge and the blade is not even close to centered. The blade isn't not rubbing but it is favoring the G10 side. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself or should I send it back to monkey edge or strider? Thanks!

Lockup is fine, a bit sticky but it is brand new so I figured that is normal absolutely not up and down or side to side play.
I don't have the spanner tool to adjust the pivot and when you spend 550$ on a knife you would expect it to be darn near perfect.

I've heard that Strider considers it a cosmetic/aesthetic issue if it's not rubbing. There ARE ways you can center it, I think it's similar to the Hinderer way.

That would annoy me.
Especially if you buy the tool and still can then it centered.
Most people back out the body and pivot screws in a certain order and are able to force the blade right or left.
Good luck
