Is the toughest I've seen. I have an older mini spear point which gets carried and used several times per week. There is not one single scuff in the coating (Or is it bead blasted?) Most other knives I have that are coated or blasted get marks in them the first time you use them. My mini blade still looks new. :D

I have to agree that this finish is excellent for knives like these being used alot in tough enviroments - they hardly show any wear. :) It always surprises me when looking at the blade after cleaning it up and realizing it doesn't look any different than before.

That kind of finish, for a real user, makes a lot of sense. It is easy (relatively speaking) to put on, wears real well, and can be touched up relatively easy too. Makes sense!

Hi Josh,

Does Buck provide the service of touching-up the blade coating? Or is it possible to do it myself? Thanks.

Ben
