If you are looking to strip cerakote, I was looking into stripping that a while back and found it's quite resistive to stripping. Especially using chemicals. Abrasives were the only sure way of removing it. Particularly bead/abrasive blasting. Interestingly, I found one video where the guy was stripping cerakote off an AR lower with regular table salt in his handheld blaster. It was remarkably affective. Although, I'm pretty sure you would lose all the markings.
