Hi folks,

I've been working on setting up my knife shop, and have a few knives I want to coat to inhibit rust.
Im looking for a method that won't require much equipment. Right now i'm just planning on buying a can of ceramacoat, unless I come across a better suggestion.
So, what do you use? What works best for you? What do you recommend for me?

Thanks,
Adin

I've used KG Gunkote. It's applied with an airbrush and baked on. My BK7 has had a few rock deflections and the finish has some scuffs, but nothing has gone through the coating yet. Get on the Tube for some application videos. Most are for guns, but it's the same principle. If you bake it longer than suggested, the coating is much tougher. It's really not to difficult to do.

I have used cerakote recently for the first time and it was actually very easy.
