blade coating

which boker...model and plus or magnum or one of the others?

folding Smachet
seeing its a bladehq special run I gonna say if it was something higher end like dlc they'd be advertising it. so im gonna guess some sort of paint or Teflon or something to the affect. thats guessing though. to get maybe the right answer.......since bladehq is a member here we can ask....

BladeHQ BladeHQ would y'all mind answering what coating is on y'alls folding smatchet boker knife? thank you.

I am spoiled with Spyderco's coating. I saw the Smachet and thought it was a nice concept. I haven't purchased any Bokers for quite some time and gave the coated Smachet some consideration but not if the coating is going to come off.

I don't know about that specific coating but I can say without hesitation, that I own more than a hundred knives from all different manufacturers, & every single one that has a coating, gets worn off eventually with use. That's not a bad thing really, because any coating that helps prevent rust is a good thing in my book, even if part of it is gone.
