Blade Coating

Could you post a pic so that we can see what you are talking about? That way we can provide you with a better answer.
 
Hi trane fan,

I don't really know if it's a coating. I'm new to Sebenzas, and just received mine last week.

Mine is the plain, small classic Sebenza, and the blade looks like it have a coating that looks like "no coating" :p . I think that because of the feel of the blade. It's very different of my others S30V blades.

Maybe a protective, translucid coating ?

Does the blade appear to be covered in tiny "scratches"? If so, it's the standard stonewashed finish....no coating.
