Blade Coatings and lock function in folders

I was reading about this coating and BC in the latest issue of Blade and am considering getting the Bodycote Tungsten DLC coating on a few folder blades - framelock, liner lock and AXIS lock.

Do any of you knife makers or owners have an opinion about how the increase smoothness of the coating will affect the quality of the lock up?

If the lock up depends to some degree upon friction between the lock bar and base of the blade, I was wondering if a "slicker" blade would result in a knife with a less strong lock up.

Please let me know what you think.
