Has anyone any expierience with knives made by Allan Blade? I like some of his designs and the prices seem very reasonable. www.bladecutlery.net is his site.

Search for "Allen Blade" "Allan Blade" and "Scott Allen Fowler" on BFC using google (or the internal search engine if it is working right) and you will see lots of info.
Yes, he makes a very nice knife and his prices are very reasonable. I would rate the PRODUCT very highly. Great grinds, heat treat, design, ergonomics, Steel choices, handle materials, kydex sheaths, etc.

I currently have a knife on order with him. His main customer base is in the UK these days. His knives are great and he should be charging 2-3 times for what he charges. The sheaths are the best Kydex work I've seen, and that includes my own! 
He has had major business troubles in the past, but according to the community at British Blades, he is not having any problems filling orders these days. I haven't heard one negative comment about Allan at BB yet. Just to stack the deck in my favor, I asked if I could wait and pay Allan after receiving the knife, and he was cool with it (although we have also done business in the past, so he kind of knows me a bit). If you can get one of his knives, you won't be disappointed. Hopefully, any day now I'll be the proud owner of a PackPal with black canvas Micarta handles and mosaic pins. For the prices he charges I'm not sure I could make the same knife for myself for any cheaper!
