Blade deployment compairing Sage1 vs Sage2

I've owned a Spyderco Sage 2 for the last 4 months and I absolutly love the knife.
I'm thinking of pulling the triger on a new Sage 1 and am wondering if the blade deployment is as smooth on the sage1 as it is on the Sage2. Are the mechanisms tappreciated. he same for both models. If anyone could detail me w/ this info it would be greatly appreciated.

I own the 1 but not the 2. Very smooth deployment.

I had a Sage 2 and my brother still has a Sage 1. We compared them with smoothness and the 1 was a little smoother. Not by much but slightly noticeable. Pull the trigger if you're considering it.

I've had both at the same time and did not notice any difference in smoothness.

There's probably more sample variation than anything else between the two.
